Job description

Your role will be to operate the logistics function of the company, overseeing customers orders from enquiry stage to delivery, establishing and maintaining good working relationships with staff and customers to facilitate this. You will be responsible for coordinating production processes to ensure customer delivery dates are met, establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with existing customers and maintaining effective communication between the sales, production and despatch functions of the Company.

Duties to include:

• Checking orders have been input correctly, and tracking the    progress of orders.
• Lead time management
• Arranging outgoing deliveries to meet customers deadlines and maximise the vehicle capacity.
• Responding to customer requests in a timely & polite manner
• Managing stock levels.
• Develop good working relationships with production & yard personnel to facilitate the flow of information
• Stock Management
• Producing schedules for various departments within production
• Visiting existing customers to maintain relationships

Essential experience or special requirements

Ideal candidates will have previous experience gained from within a simiar role and be able to communicate effectively
