| Job description | Our Client a successful and progressive engineering company are looking to recruit an experienced Purchasing Manager to their expanding team. You will be responsible to leading and managing a team of 5 people and will be involved in the development of the supply line to ensure continuity of product from both UK and overseas supply base to support the significant business growth. You will be required to initiate new contacts and build relationships with current and new suppliers. Ideal candidates will be practical and self motivated, have manufacturing finance awareness and have the ability to interact effectively and communicate with other key functions within the business. |
| Essential experience or special requirements | Experience gained from within a similar role, ideally the automotive manufacturing industry is essential Candidates with an engineering background would have an advantage |
