Quality Assurance Technician

6am-6pm - Continental Shifts

Our Client, an acknowledged leader in the design, development and production of a high stability range of products, are looking to recruit an experience Quality Assurance Technician to their team.

The key elements to the role will involve the following:-

• Interpreting Engineering Drawings, Specifications, Standards and Goods Inwards Inspection Procedures.
• Producing internal component ISIRs for critical dimensions to verify ISIR data provided by suppliers.
• Using; CMM, Profile Projector, Micrometer, Vernier, Shadow Graph, Surface Measurement & Hardness Testing Equipment and Various Gauges.
• Monitor and review calibration of all equipment in process and final quality audit checks.
• Defect root cause investigation

Ideal candidates will have:

• Quality Control / Inspection training/experience
• Auditor training / experience
• Sufficient experience to use Microsoft Excel / Word for statistical analysis and reporting.
• Sufficient interpersonal skills to liaise with staff and suppliers regarding quality issues, working for continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will be covering a 12/7 working week. This entails 12 hour shifts (6am to 6pm), seven days a week on a 2/3 rolling basis. This continental shift pattern attracts a 25% shift premium. We will require the successful candidates to work alternate shift patterns as the needs of the business
dictate.
